Lais is the best! I was confused because my consulate "handler" was not fully aware what happened once i got to Brazil, what the process was. The law had changed since some friends received their residence authorization cards, and the wording had changed, so that added to my confusion. Lais was with me every step of the way. I felt as if I was not going into my appointment alone, and although everything worked out so well, I do not feel like it would be so streamlined if I had not been fortunate enough to have come into contact with Lais. While I am still in the early stages of waiting for the actual card, I feel like everything it in motion. I was totally lost when I found Lais and his company on the internet. For two days my daughter-in-law had tried to get from the US to Brazil and she simply did not come because she had not taken the Brazilian visa!
